Kyc & Aml Policies

Scope and Applicability

This policy applies to all Bdgo customers and participants in the Bdgo Platform. It governs onboarding, identity verification, funding, wagering, transfers, and all other activities conducted through Bdgo.

KYC and Identity Verification

Bdgo conducts customer due diligence to verify identity and assess risk. Verification is required at onboarding and prior to enabling withdrawals, and it may be updated periodically as part of ongoing monitoring. Verification should be completed promptly and remain valid for the duration of the customer relationship.

  • Acceptable identity documents include a valid passport, national identity card, or driving license.
  • Proof of address must be recent and documentary, such as a utility bill or bank or government document not older than six months.
  • Proof of ownership of the payment method used for deposits may be required, including a copy of a payment card (redacted as needed), a screenshot of an electronic wallet, or a recent bank statement not older than six months.
  • Bdgo may request live verification steps such as a live photo or video check when necessary to confirm identity.
  • In cases where standard documents cannot be verified, notarised or certified identification may be required in accordance with applicable law.

Users must be at least 18 years old. The verification process is targeted to be completed within five business days of submission, subject to receipt of all required documents.

Source of Funds and Source of Wealth

Bdgo requires disclosure of the origin of funds used for transactions and, where appropriate, the customer’s wider source of wealth. A source of funds declaration and supporting documentation may be requested, including bank statements, payslips, or employer letters. Documentation is assessed to confirm legitimacy of funds and to identify unusual funding patterns.

  • Acceptable examples include recent bank statements reflecting the deposit source, payslips, or official letters confirming employment or income.
  • Bdgo may suspend deposits or withdrawals until the information is provided and verified to our satisfaction.

Bdgo reserves the right to request additional documentation as needed to complete the checks and may impose periodic re-verification as part of ongoing due diligence.

Ongoing Monitoring and Transaction Screening

A risk based monitoring program is in place to detect and deter money laundering and the financing of terrorism. All transactions are reviewed against internal thresholds and external indicators, and a complete audit trail is maintained for regulatory purposes.

If suspicious activity is detected or if a transaction cannot be satisfactorily explained, Bdgo may restrict, delay, or suspend activity, block deposits or withdrawals, or close the account. Bdgo will report suspected wrongdoing to the competent authorities in accordance with applicable law.

Enhanced Due Diligence

Enhanced due diligence (EDD) is triggered by indicators such as unfamiliar jurisdictions, rapid or large fund movements, complex ownership structures, or inconsistent information. EDD may include additional identity checks, enhanced source of funds verification, and ongoing monitoring on a heightened basis.

Sanctions and Politically Exposed Persons

Bdgo screens customers and beneficial owners against sanctions lists and conducts risk assessments for politically exposed persons (PEP). If a customer is identified as a PEP or related to a PEP, Bdgo will apply enhanced verification and ongoing screening and may impose additional monitoring or restrictions.

Payments and Verification Flow

  1. Account opening and consent to KYC checks.
  2. Initiation of deposits and interim verification review to ensure funding origin aligns with disclosed information.
  3. Verification of payment method ownership where required by the deposit method.
  4. Assessment of withdrawal eligibility; funds may be held pending verification results.
  5. Release of funds following successful verification and completion of checks.

Deposits or withdrawals exceeding €2,000 may require enhanced verification or additional documentation.

Account Restrictions, Suspension and Termination

Bdgo may impose restrictions, suspend or terminate accounts where AML concerns arise or where verification cannot be completed to satisfaction. In such cases, Bdgo may withhold funds and restrict access to services pending resolution. Bdgo may also notify relevant authorities when required by law or regulation.

Data Protection and Retention

Bdgo processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Data collected for AML purposes will be retained for a minimum period of eight years after the conclusion of the customer relationship or as required by law. Bdgo acts as the data controller for processing related to AML compliance. Personal data may be shared with competent authorities where required by law, and security measures are applied to protect information integrity and confidentiality.

Customers retain rights to access, rectify, and request erasure of personal data as permitted by law, subject to Bdgo’s legal and regulatory obligations. Details of data handling, retention, and rights are described in the Bdgo privacy framework available within the account interface.

Governance, Training and Compliance Oversight

Bdgo maintains an AML compliance program with formal governance, risk assessment, staff training, and periodic independent review. A designated Compliance Officer oversees the program and ensures updates in response to regulatory developments and changes in risk posture.

Cooperation with Authorities and Reporting

Bdgo cooperates with competent authorities and financial institutions in all jurisdictions where Bdgo operates. In accordance with applicable law, Bdgo may disclose information about customers and transactions where required by law or by a valid regulatory or investigative process. Customer information will be disclosed only to the extent necessary and permitted by law.

Amendments and Policy Administration

Bdgo may amend this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to customers in a timely manner and will take effect in accordance with applicable consumer protection or gambling regulations. Continued use of Bdgo services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
